Thank you for your interest in the Garfield County Housing Authority's housing programs. We maintain waiting lists for our housing programs according to Federal housing laws.
Please read all the information below carefully. Do not skip directly to the application.
Before you begin the application, you must have the names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers available for all household members. You should also know the amount of income, assets, and expenses for each household member. If your household has no income from any sources, you must enter zero in the income field. The information you provide must be truthful and complete to the best of your knowledge. An email address or phone number will be required. If you do not have a email address, the application process will allow you to create one. As you complete the application process, you will create a login and password. Please keep this information.

Application Preference: The Garfield County Housing Authority has adopted a Residency Preference for all waiting lists. An applicant will qualify for a residency preference if they currently live, work, or have been hired to work in Garfield County.
The Garfield County Housing Authority also has a preference for families receiving TANF and have successfully completed a self-sufficiency requirement as verified by the TANF caseworker.
Eligible applicants will be placed on the waiting list and sorted according to preferences then date and time.

Maximum Income Limits: If your annual gross income is at or below these limits, you may qualify for assistance. (Income limits are subject to change)

- If you move after submitting the application, it is your responsibility to update your mailing address with the Garfield County Housing Authority. You must have a current mailing address to remain on the waiting list.
