Charter Oak Communities (COC) will be accepting Preliminary Applications for the Stamford Manor Program. Stamford Manor is a federal, low-income community for seniors and disabled residents. Applicants must meet all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development income and eligibility requirements.
Maximum income levels based on family size are as follows:
1 Person - $65,500
2 Persons - $76,000
This site will only be available between April 5, 2021, through May 7, 2021.
Only one pre-application per family will be accepted; if duplicate pre-applications are submitted for one household; duplicate pre-applications will be disqualified.
The following information will be needed to complete this pre-application:
• Date of birth for all applicants
• Social Security numbers (opt-out option for mixed families)
• Legal and/or mailing address
• Income Information (i.e. – wages, child support, social security benefits, etc.)
After you have successfully applied, you should print the confirmation of pre-application that appears on the last page of the process. You may also receive a confirmation via email if an email address is provided. If you do not have an email account, you will have the opportunity to create one while completing the pre-application. Charter Oak Communities will use a Random-Draw Lottery System to determine the order of each pre-application on the waiting list. Applicants will be notified by mail no later than June 1, 2021. All disqualified applications not selected will be discarded with no further notice.
