Instructions

Charter Oak Communities will begin accepting pre-applications for BLT Norwalk, CT. The random draw lottery enrollment period will begin on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 8:00am and will close upon receipt of the first 30 applications. A random draw lottery system will be used to determine application waitlist placement.

Only one pre-application per family will be accepted; duplicate pre-applications will be disqualified. After you have successfully applied, you should save the confirmation which appears on the last page of the process.

APPLICABLE PREFERENCES FOR WORKFORCE HOUSING PROGRAM:

1ST - Employees for the City of Norwalk or Norwalk Board of Education

2ND- Lives in the City of Norwalk, for at minimum 1 year prior

3RD - Works in the City of Norwalk

4TH- All other applicants

 

*Rents and Income limits are based on the Stamford Area Median Income published by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and are subject to change. Placement on the waiting list does not indicate that the applicant is eligible for the Below Market Rate (BM) program.  A final determination of eligibility will be made when the applicant is selected from the waiting list.

 

Section 8 & RAP Voucher holders are welcome to apply.
