How to Apply for Housing Assistance
Thank you for your interest in applying for housing assistance. Please read all information carefully before beginning your application.
Important Information
- Applications will only be accepted during the advertised open application period.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee placement on a waiting list or eligibility for housing assistance.
- Only one application per household per waiting list is permitted.
- Duplicate, incomplete, or fraudulent applications may be denied or removed from consideration.
- Applications must be submitted online through the WaitlistCheck portal.
- Paper applications are not accepted unless otherwise specified by the housing authority.
Before You Begin
Please have the following information available for all household members:
- Full legal names
- Dates of birth
- Social Security Numbers (if applicable)
- Current address and contact information
- Income and employment information
- Disability, veteran, or other preference information (if applicable) -- need to set up preference questions
Application Process
- Review the available waiting lists and eligibility requirements.
- Select the waiting list(s) for which you wish to apply.
- Complete all required application fields.
- Review your information for accuracy before submitting.
- Submit your application and save or print your confirmation number for your records.
After Submission
- You will receive a confirmation that your application has been successfully submitted.
- It is your responsibility to keep your contact information current while on the waiting list.
- Failure to respond to correspondence or update your information may result in removal from the waiting list.
