The New Bedford Housing Authority is now accepting applications 24 hours a day through our online portal WaitListCheck. We will also continue to accept applications Monday- Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at our main office, 128 Union St. 4th fl., New Bedford, MA, or by mail or fax o 508-997-4808.
After having successfully completed your online application, you should print the confirmation page that appears on the last page of the process. You will also receive a confirmation by e-mail if an e-mail address is provided. If you do not have an e-mail account, you will have the opportunity to create one while completing the application. You must save your log-in ID and password as you will need them to check the status of your application. Please do not call the Housing Authority for your status.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to notify the Housing Authority of any changes in your personal information, income, or family composition. Your failure to do so, may result in your name being removed from the list.
