Welcome to WCCA’s online application site for the

Housing Choice Voucher Program

Effective October 1, 2020, WCCA will begin accepting applications submitted via the website.  Paper applications will continue to be accepted.

WCCA administers the Voucher Program in Henderson and Transylvania Counties.  You must select the waiting list for the county that you prefer and you may only submit (1) one application.  Duplicate applications will be disqualified.

Note:   If you, or anyone in your family is a person with disabilities and you require a specific accommodation in order to fully utilize our programs and services, please contact the Director of Housing Programs.

Income Limits: HUD requires all new participants to meet income requirements for housing assistance.  The tables below reflect the 2020 maximum income limits by household size for our program area.

Additional Information:

To be eligible to apply for housing, the head of household must be adult, 18 years or older or a legally emancipated minor; one person in the household must be an eligible citizen or eligible non-citizen; and household total income must meet the above income limits established by HUD.

All household members 18 years and older are subject to criminal background investigations which include the sex-offender database.
