who can apply:

¨   The waiting list has a local preference for Head of Household, Spouse or Cohead  who live or work in Fort Bend County.

¨  Your total gross annual income must not be more than the following amounts for your household size.  (Maximum income limits are subject to change):

¨     Families will need a valid email address, names, Social Security Numbers, birthdates, and income information for everyone in the household.

¨     If you need assistance in another language, Google Translate will assist you during the application process.

things to keep in mind:

¨        Multiple pre-applications from the same applicant/ household will be rejected.

¨     1000 successfully submitted applications will be accepted.

¨     Placement will be based on a computerized random selection (lottery process).

¨     Indicate your desired means of communication on your application (email/mail) 

¨     On August 13, 2025, log onto www.waitlistcheck.com and check their status on the Waiting List. Inactive status = not chosen for the waiting list.   Active status, chosen for the waiting list, so create an account at www.Assistanceconnectk.com by using the pin number on the application receipt.
