Public Housing Waiting Lists

Applications will be accepted for the Norwalk Housing Authority Public Housing 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 5-bedroom waiting lists beginning November 2, 2023 at 9:00am and will close when the desired number of applications has been met.  Applications will be placed on the waiting list based on time and date received, with preferences for applicants who live or work in Norwalk and/or are employed at least 20 hours per week.  If you need a reasonable accommodation to complete the application, please call 203-838-8471 during business hours (9:00am-5:00pm) for assistance.

 16 School Street Development Waiting Lists

Applications will be accepted for the Norwalk Housing Authority 16 School Street Development's 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom waiting lists beginning December 1, 2023 at 9:00am and will close when the desired number of applications has been received.  Applications will be placed in a lottery and placement on the waiting list will be based on the applicant's lottery number.  The minimum income required to apply for a 2-bedroom is $33,200 and $38,080 for the 3-bedroom.
