Thank you for your interest in being placed on the waiting list South End Tenants Houses II (SETH II). Please note the following information:
Applicants may apply from October 27, 2025, at 9:00 am.
SETH II is an affordable housing development owned and managed by Tenants' Development Corporation (TDC). The majority of the buildings are four story brownstone buildings all scattered throughout the South End of Boston. SETH II consist of 185 units with 10 wheelchair accessible units.
Applicants must meet Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit guidelines. Resident will pay rent based on 30% of their monthly income.
Applicants will be placed on the waiting list based on a random lottery system and housing preference.
Income, assets and any preference will be based on self-certification on the pre-application. When an applicant is contacted to be considered for an available unit, the applicant must complete a full rental application and information on the application will be verified.
Applicants will be notified in writing 30 days after the lottery their lottery number on the waiting list.
