• Duplicate applications submitted to that community/development will result in all applications being removed from the waiting list.

• If you apply for a bedroom size that you do not qualify for, you will be removed from the waiting list.   Please see the end of this notice (LHC Occupancy Standards) for eligible bedroom sizes.

• You may have only ONE application open at each community/development LHC operates.

Lansing Housing Commission provides housing opportunities for low-income families. Prior to admission, LHC verifies household income, family composition and other circumstances, including criminal, landlord and financial history, for all adults in the household. Households deemed both eligible and suitable for admission will be offered an opportunity to lease a unit. Households who lease LHC units have the option of paying either an income based rent (based on a family’s ability to pay (usually 30% of a family’s monthly adjusted income), regardless of the size of the leased unit) or a flat rent (based on the size of the leased unit).
